Finding gear that works for your kids is tough, especially with the really little ones. Boots that fit one trip can be uncomfortable the next, little gloves rarely stay on little hands, and lots of kids equipment turns out to be poorly made and not very waterproof.
As a parent, trying to balance value, quality and fit can be a nightmare. Part of our mission on this site is to provide guidance, reviews and information about some of the equipment that my kids burn through. Whether it comes from ski-swaps, eBay, boutiques or friends, we’ll do our best to point out exceptional items, whether good or bad.
I’m also particularly interested in safety devices and tools that help parents teach their kids how to ski. I’ll be taking a look into the latest in helmet and binding technology, and see how the kids like different models. I’ll also be reviewing a few of the harnesses and tip connectors to see how well they help me teach my younger children to snow plow.
